Non-flammable adhesive based on a watery sodium silicate solution for the bonding of absorbent insulating materials, e.g. mineral- or rock wool, Promat-, Thermatex- or gypsum plates among themselves, onto absorbent backgrounds or onto galvanized sheet- and stainless-steel, e.g. in the field of fire protection doors.

This adhesive achieves after the hardening a bonding with extremely high heat resistance up to +800 °C.
