Composite panels for fire protection purposes

Fire protection is gaining more and more importance, not least, because the conditions demanded by the authorities in this field are getting stricter and stricter. Weiss offers you a well-founded knowhow in the development and production of sandwich panels, complying with fire protection requirements (B1) or that may even be rated as incombustible (A). These panels are used for instance in the building sector, in the production of mobile event equipment or in the area of marine - rail - passenger transport.

In the building industry, the requirements on fire protection have been tightened continuously within the last years. With our successfully tested façade elements and sandwich elements we satisfy this endeavour to more safety and so we offer an ideal solution for the indoor and outdoor area of your building project.

Mineral fibre insulating material (MIN) A1

• Building material class A1 (DIN EN 13501-1 or DIN 4102-1)

• Melting point > 1000 °C
• Loadable by pressure

Tests

• Reaction to fire test as per DIN EN 13501-1+ A1: 2013
• Tested for thicknesses of 24-40 mm
• LNE certified – certification number: P17538
