Here are a few classic structural adhesive applications that can be solved in the manufacture of RVs, caravans, refrigerated trucks, ambulances, buses, truck semi-trailers or in train production with COSMO® adhesives.
When manufacturing sandwich elements, very specific requirements are placed on the adhesive system used, as different application technologies and a wide range of materials or material combinations are involved. To support you in selecting the most suitable adhesive for your individual production processes, we have developed a broad portfolio of systems offering a wide variety of properties in terms of viscosity, thixotropy, processing time, and press time.
Here are a few classic elements used in the manufacture of RVs, caravans, vans, ambulances, bosoms, truck semi-trailers or ship cabins whose topcoats and core materials are bonded to COSMO® surface adhesives.

In the shipbuilding area, the provisions referring to the permitted products have been tightened in a way that for “all commercially used ships, yachts and boats” only tested and approved products are allowed to be used. The quality management system of Weiss complies with module D (quality assurance production) of thee 2014/90/EU directive on marine equipment and the approved adhesive systems are subject to this quality assurance system.
These special requirements of shipbuilding are arguably met by the adhesives marked with the steering wheel.
